London Low Light shines again!

25th July 2012
We had another great evening up in London on Saturday 21st July, exploring Low Light photography on the London's South Bank. We had another group of enthusiastic photographers, all keen to expand their skills and began on the jetty at Gabriel's Wharf, near the OXO Tower. There we spent a short while getting to know what everyone wanted to cover and giving a short masterclass on using graduated neutral density filters.
We moved on towards Waterloo Bridge where the natural light faded, the setting sun lit the buildings for a short magical interlude, and then the spectacle that is London by Night took over. From either side of the bridge we had wonderful views, made extra special by the addition of lazer displays to mark the 2012 Olympics.

We continued along the South Bank and made our way up onto Hungerford Bridge to take in the London Eye, with rainbow illuminations, and Westminster Palace in all it's glory.

From the rear camera screens we could see that people had really grasped the Low Light techniques and were making some fantastic images.

It is lovely to have had a few images sent through since the weekend for us to review and enjoy.

We are looking forward to being in London again soon for the next workshops on the calendar.

There are still a few spaces left but they are going fast!
